India's First Bioengineering Centre for Lung Health Launched
India's first Bioengineering Centre for Lung Health was opened at IIT Hyderabad.
This center is a big deal because it's the first of its kind in the country.
It's a team effort between IIT Hyderabad and a group from Germany called the Institute for Lung Health.
The center will help scientists and doctors work together to find better ways to check lung health and treat lung diseases.
They want to make new tools that don't hurt or bother patients too much.
Important people from IIT Hyderabad and Germany were there to start the center.
This is a great step for India and Germany to work together on health and science.
India's first Bioengineering Centre of Excellence for Lung Health launched at IIT Hyderabad in collaboration with the Institute for Lung Health (ILH), Germany.
The centre aims to drive advanced lung health research and strengthen Indo-German cooperation in biomedical science and engineering.
Directors of the centre are Renu John from IITH and Soni Savai Pullamsetti from ILH.
The centre focuses on developing non-invasive diagnostics, advanced therapies, and training future leaders in lung health research.
The centre was inaugurated by IIT Hyderabad Director B S Murty, with key speakers including AIG Hospitals Chairman Dr D Nageshwar Reddy and ILH Director Werner Seeger.
