NID DAT 2027 Registration Opens; Applications Due November 30
The National Institute of Design has started accepting applications for its 2027 design entrance test.
Students can apply on the official admissions website.
The application deadline is November 30, 2026.
The first exam, called DAT Prelims, will be held on December 20, 2026.
Students who qualify may later take DAT Mains.
The test is used for B.Des.

admissions.

The National Institute of Design has opened registration for NID DAT 2027 at admissions.nid.edu.
Candidates must submit applications and pay the applicable fee by November 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. IST.
The DAT Prelims examination is scheduled for December 20, 2026, with admit cards available from December 10.
The examination supports admission to B.Des. and integrated M.Des. programs for the 2027–2028 academic year.
Application fees range from ₹500 for PwD and Third Gender candidates to ₹3,000 for General, GEN-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates.
