World Circular Economy Forum Comes to South Asia
Gandhinagar in Gujarat will host an important meeting about using resources more wisely.
It will be the first World Circular Economy Forum held in South Asia.
More than 2,000 people from over 65 countries are expected to attend.
They will discuss ways to reuse, repair and recycle products instead of throwing them away.
The meeting will also explore technology, jobs, investment and government policies.
An exhibition will show ideas from start-ups and other innovators.
The main event will take place at Mahatma Mandir on September 15 and 16.
More online, hybrid and in-person sessions will continue on September 17 and 18.
Gandhinagar will host the first World Circular Economy Forum in South Asia at Mahatma Mandir on September 15 and 16.
More than 2,000 participants from over 65 countries are expected to attend the forum.
Discussions will cover circular finance, resource efficiency, innovation, technology, policy and international cooperation.
An exhibition with more than 125 exhibitors will showcase circular-economy solutions and investment-ready innovations.
The wider programme will include 80 accelerator sessions from September 17 to 18 in Gandhinagar and other locations worldwide.
