Range Rover Electric Opens Bookings In India
Range Rover has made its first SUV that runs entirely on electricity.
People in India can now book one, although its Indian price has not been announced.
It has a large battery that may let it travel up to 600 kilometres on a full charge.
Two electric motors provide strong power for driving.
A very fast charger can refill the battery from 10% to 80% in about 22 minutes.
The SUV can drive through water up to 35 inches deep.
It also has features designed to help it drive over difficult ground.
It will be imported into India and is expected to compete with another luxury electric SUV from Mercedes-Benz.

The SUV uses a 118.5 kWh battery and twin motors producing 542 hp and 850 Nm.
Land Rover claims a WLTP range of up to 600 kilometres.
