Apple’s iPhone Duo Foldable Draws Camera Questions Near ₹3 Lakh
Apple has made its first foldable iPhone, called the iPhone Duo.
It opens into a larger 7.6-inch screen and has a 5.4-inch outer screen.
In India, it starts at ₹2,99,900.
Its main camera has specifications that look very similar to the cheaper iPhone 17e.
Both phones use a 48MP main camera and offer a 2x optical-quality zoom using that camera.
The more expensive iPhone 18 Pro Max has more advanced camera hardware, including a dedicated telephoto camera.
Apple has not said whether the two similar cameras use the exact same sensor.
The foldable phone may have simpler cameras because Apple needed space for its hinge, screens, batteries and thin design.
This means buyers may mainly be paying for the foldable design rather than Apple’s best camera system.
The iPhone Duo starts at ₹2,99,900 in India for 256GB of storage.

Unlike the iPhone 18 Pro Max, the Duo lacks a dedicated telephoto camera and variable aperture.
