TRI Art & Culture explores grief, memory and rest
TRI Art & Culture is showing two art exhibitions.
One exhibition is about remembering someone who has died.
It uses photographs, sculptures, smells and handwritten letters.
Visitors can also leave a message for someone they miss.
The other exhibition is designed to help people become still and rest.
It includes soft pulsing lights and an activity about tracing breathing patterns.
Visitors can make their own creations while resting.
The exhibitions are free to visit until November 1.
The second edition of Monsoon Rooms features two exhibitions at TRI Art & Culture.
Vriddhi (Grey)’s The Presence of an Absence reflects on the death of the artist’s mother through scent, sculpture, photographs and handwritten letters.
Visitors to Outbound can leave telephone messages for someone they miss, love or have lost, or for their past or future selves.
Hansika Mangwani’s Breath Work(s) focuses on stillness and restoration through light works, breathing exercises and creative activities.
Both exhibitions are free and open to the public until November 1, Tuesday through Sunday, from 11am to 7pm.
