Textile Artist Turns Wool Into a Language of Emotion
Garima Goel is showing artwork made from wool.
The exhibition is called “The Voyage Within & Beyond.”

Garima Goel’s solo exhibition, “The Voyage Within & Beyond,” opens September 12 at Visual Arts Gallery in New Delhi.
The show uses natural wool, colour, texture and handmade processes to express emotion, memory, belonging and transformation.
Its felted-wool works combine textile, sculpture and contemporary art through embroidery, beads, fibre layers and tactile surfaces.
Goel’s practice draws on India’s handmade wool traditions, including Kashmir’s Namda tradition, while exploring new forms and applications.
The exhibition extends the work of Emot Studio and includes an evening gathering from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on September 12.
