The leader of the BSP is a woman named Mayawati.
She was once the leader of a state called Uttar Pradesh.
A man named Anant Kumar Mishra used to look after health in her government.
Mayawati said that Mishra was not being a good team member.
So she told him he could no longer be in the party, which means he was expelled.
Mayawati said this on a social media app called X. She also told other party workers to stay focused and work hard for the party before the next state elections.

Mayawati had previously expelled Ashok Siddharth, father-in-law of her nephew Akash Anand, and coordinator Randhir Singh Beniwal over similar allegations.
