BRS Defends Kaleshwaram Project, Criticizes Congress Over Misinfo
BRS leaders went to Karimnagar to look at the big Kaleshwaram irrigation project.
They said the project is a proud symbol for Telangana and that it helps farmers and people get water.
They also said Congress people were wrong about how the project works.
The leaders asked the state to keep the pumps running all the time so the water tanks fill up.
They visited places like Yellampalli backwaters and two pump houses to see how the water is lifted.
BRS leaders toured key sites of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project in Karimnagar.
They called the project a symbol of Telangana’s self‑respect and denied Congress claims of gravity‑flow operation.
Leaders urged the state government to run pump houses continuously to fill reservoirs for irrigation.
The visit included inspection of Yellampalli backwaters, Nandi Pump House, and Gayatri Pump House.
BRS criticized Congress ministers for making “misleading and uninformed” remarks about the project.
