Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to visit West Bengal on December 20.

He will start by laying the foundation stone and inaugurating two big road projects in Ranaghat.

These projects will help people travel faster between Kolkata and Siliguri, making the journey smoother and quicker.

The roads will also help the economy and make it easier for people to visit tourist places.

The total cost of these projects is Rs.

3,200 crore.

One project is about making a 66.7 km road four lanes wide, and the other is about making a 17.6 km road four lanes wide.

These changes will make traveling in West Bengal much better.

Additionally, Modi will address a public meeting in Nadia’s Taherpur, a Matua-dominated area, amid political tensions over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

The Trinamool Congress opposes the SIR, claiming it risks disenfranchising genuine voters, while the BJP aims to dispel these fears.
