Vadodara Named Co-Host for Inaugural 2027 Women’s Champions Trophy
Vadodara hosting 2027 Women’s Champions Trophy games is well deserved, says BCA CEO Parikh · thehansindia.com

Vadodara will host some matches in a new women’s cricket tournament in 2027.

Mumbai will host the other matches.

The tournament will have six of the world’s top women’s T20I teams.

It will run from February 14 to 28.

A cricket official from Baroda said Vadodara earned the opportunity by hosting many successful matches.

The stadium has already hosted international games and Women’s Premier League matches.

Sri Lanka was originally linked to hosting the event but lost those rights after a dispute involving its cricket board.

The ICC then chose India after reviewing bids from several countries.
