Prajwal's Seized Phone Sealed; Police Deny Video Reports

A man named Prajwal Revanna, who used to be a member of parliament in India, is in jail.

The police searched his prison room and found some things that are not allowed in jail.

Those things include a phone, a charger, a small memory stick called a pen drive, and a packet of notes.

Some news reports said there were videos on the phone.

The police say those reports are not true.

The police have put the items in sealed covers so nobody can touch them.

A special laboratory will soon check what is actually inside the phone.

The police do not know whose phone it is because the password has not been given to them.

They are also trying to find out how the phone got into the prison.

Prajwal was sent to this prison because a court found him guilty in a serious case.
