Video of Ex-MP Prajwal Revanna Using Phone Inside Bengaluru Jail

The Central Crime Branch (CCB) raided the prison on Tuesday, recovering more than 10 mobile phones, including an Android phone — reportedly a blue Redmi 5G — from Revanna's barrack, along with a charger, blue pocket notebook and black SanDisk pen drive.
Reports note discrepancies: some describe Revanna as a rape convict serving a life sentence, while one calls him a rape accused; obscene videos and OTT apps were reportedly found on the devices, though one report said no other contraband was found.
Revanna was moved from the VIP cell to a normal cell with around 20 convicted prisoners sharing a single toilet and told to wear the prison uniform and carry out library duties; Prison Department DGP Alok Kumar said Assistant Superintendent Eeranna was suspended and Jail Superintendent Anshukumar was issued a show-cause notice.
