The central government has approved the construction of a new 100-bed hospital for workers near the Shamshabad airport in Hyderabad.

This hospital will be built in the Raikunta area and will cost Rs 16.125 crore.

The decision was made to help the many workers who are insured by the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) scheme in the Rangareddy district.

There are already over 1.32 lakh ESI-insured workers in this area, and the number is expected to grow.

The central government will fund the hospital's construction.

There are already other ESIC hospitals in Telangana, including one in Sanathnagar that offers high-quality care.

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making this happen quickly.
