Vile Parle high-rise fire kills 2, injures 4 in Mumbai
2 Dead, 6 Injured After Fire Breaks Out In Residential Building In Mumbai · NDTV

In Mumbai, a big city in India, there is a very tall apartment building.

One night, a fire started on the 11th floor.

People living there were trapped and needed help.

The fire grew fast, and firefighters called it a "level 2" fire.

Firefighters rushed to the building to rescue people one by one.

Sadly, two people died in the fire — a little child named Abir, who was two and a half years old, and a young woman named Ankita, who was 23 years old.

Four other people were hurt and had to go to the hospital.

Thick smoke filled the building, making it hard for firefighters to see.

After nearly two hours of hard work, firefighters got the fire under control around midnight and sprayed water to cool things down.

It was a very sad night for everyone in the building.
