CSAB Opens 15,423 Engineering Seats After JoSAA
15,423 engineering seats vacant after JoSAA as CSAB opens fresh admission window for JEE aspirants · businesstoday.in

After the main engineering college admissions in India, many seats are still empty.

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) is opening a new round to let students who didn’t get a spot in the first round try again.

Students can sign up from July 28 to August 3, 2026, and then choose their preferred colleges.

CSAB will give out seats based on how well students did in the JEE Main exam.

This helps fill the empty spots in big technical schools like NITs, IIITs, and other government‑funded institutes.

The new round also offers special chances for girls and for students from different states.
