CSAB Opens Fresh Chance For NIT+ Admissions Across Madhya Pradesh · freepressjournal.in

The Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has opened Special Rounds for admissions to National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, and Government-Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs).

This opportunity is for engineering aspirants in Indore and across Madhya Pradesh who missed out on their preferred branches or institutes during the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling.

Candidates must register again and submit a new preference list, as previous JoSAA choices are not considered.

The CSAB has introduced a unified dashboard for registration, fee payment, and choice filling.

The fee structure varies by category, with General, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates paying Rs 45,000 and SC, ST, and PwD candidates paying Rs 19,000.

Candidates are advised to carefully analyze the available seats and prepare their choices based on their rank, category, and branch availability.

Those who secure a seat through CSAB must report physically to their allotted institutes for document verification and admission completion.
