Maxivision Inaugurates Second Eye Hospital in Vijayawada Poranki
Maxivision opened a new eye hospital in Poranki, Vijayawada.
It is the company’s second hospital in the city.
Kollu Ravindra officially opened it on Saturday.
The hospital treats many eye problems, including cataracts and glaucoma.
It also provides care for children’s eyes and retina disorders.
Doctors can examine patients, run tests and perform surgeries there.
Maxivision said the new location will help more people get treatment closer to home.
The company first opened a Vijayawada facility in 2003.
Maxivision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals inaugurated its second Vijayawada hospital at Poranki on Saturday.
Minister for Mines and Excise Kollu Ravindra inaugurated the facility by lighting the traditional lamp.
The hospital will provide cataract, glaucoma, retina, refractive surgery and paediatric eye care services.
The facility also offers consultations, diagnostic investigations and surgical procedures.
Maxivision said the hospital would bring specialised eye care closer to patients in Vijayawada and nearby areas.
