Kalyan-Dombivli Faces 12-Hour Water Cut For Plant Maintenance
Kalyan-Dombivli will have no municipal water for 12 hours on September 29.
The interruption is planned from 8 a.m.
to 8 p.m.
The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation will repair and maintain four water treatment plants.
Kalyan and Dombivli are among the areas that will be affected.
Several nearby villages and rural areas will also have no water supply.
Residents should store enough water before the shutdown begins.
They should use their stored water carefully.
Water service may return gradually after the work is finished.
Water supply will be suspended from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on September 29.
KDMC will conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance at four water treatment plants.
Affected locations include Kalyan, Dombivli, Manda-Titwala, Vadavali, Ambivli, Shahad, Atali and nearby rural areas.
Residents have been advised to store water beforehand and use it carefully during the shutdown.
Supply may take some time to return to normal after the maintenance work ends.
