Rainfall from 8 a.m. September 16 to 8 a.m. September 17 averaged 0.26 mm in central Mumbai, 0.59 mm in the eastern suburbs, and 0.42 mm in the western suburbs.
Mumbai’s overall AQI was 77, classified as Moderate, with PM2.5 measured at 24 micrograms per cubic metre.
Deonar and Nerul recorded Poor air quality, while Powai and Borivali East recorded Good readings of 46 and 38, respectively.
