Armani Empire’s Future Emerges Through Milan Runway and Stake Talks
Armanis business and creative evolution on show in Milan a year after founders death · livemint.com

Giorgio Armani was a famous fashion designer who died at age 91.

About a year later, his fashion company showed a new collection in Milan.

The collection kept his elegant style but also tried some new ideas.

It was called “Evolution.”

The company may sell part of itself because Armani’s will asked for a 15% stake to be sold.

Three possible buyers are LVMH, L’Oréal and EssilorLuxottica.

The company’s chief executive said the stake might be shared by all three.

Armani’s niece also added cotton to the collection, even though Armani did not like that fabric.
