Students in the Indian state of Jharkhand were angry because exam papers were leaked.

They held a peaceful protest in the city of Ranchi on August 10.

A political party called the Congress says another party, the BJP, brought people from other states to cause trouble at that protest.

Four Congress leaders told reporters in Ranchi that the BJP is scared of a police investigation, called a CID probe, into the leaked papers.

Congress says the BJP is part of an 'exam mafia' that helps leak test papers across the country.

It says that since 2015, there have been 152 paper leaks in India, but the CBI only investigated 17 of them and no one was convicted.

Congress also said no force was used against the student protesters in Jharkhand.

A Congress leader named Rahul Gandhi is said to have encouraged students to speak up through a campaign called 'Chhatron Ki Goonj'.

Congress asked the state's chief minister, Hemant Soren, to find the BJP workers who caused trouble and punish them.
