An unmanned boat attacked an area along the waterfront in Sochi, Russia.

A fire started, and eight people were hurt.

Five people went to hospitals or other medical facilities, while three were treated where they were found.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukrainian forces attacked a Russian naval base in Novorossiysk.

He said the attack was carried out in response to Russian strikes on Ukraine.

Russia said its forces also carried out strikes against Ukrainian military and supply locations.

Those locations included areas in Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Odesa.

The two sides gave accounts of attacks against each other.

Emergency and other special services worked at the damaged Sochi site.
