UP Police Homeguard Killed as Speeding Thar Rams His Vehicle
A homeguard is a person who helps the police keep everyone safe.
One homeguard named Kapil Kumar worked with the police in a city called Noida.
One night, the police got a phone call asking for urgent help.
Kapil and a constable drove very fast toward the emergency.
On the way, a big red car called a Thar crashed into their police vehicle.
The Thar was going very fast and was out of control.
Both Kapil and the constable were badly hurt and taken to a hospital.
Sadly, Kapil died from his injuries.
The police caught the driver of the red Thar and took the car away.
Now the driver will have to face the law.
Homeguard Kapil Kumar of the Uttar Pradesh Police died after a speeding red Thar rammed police response vehicle PRV 9619 in Noida.
The crash happened around 11:15 pm on the night of August 12 while the PRV was racing to an emergency call from Gaur City 2 in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
A constable and homeguard Kapil Kumar on board suffered serious injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital, where Kapil Kumar passed away.
The red Thar has been seized and the accused driver has been arrested, with a case registered at Crossing Republik police station.
Assistant Commissioner of Police for Wave City, Priyashree Pal, said the Thar was being driven at very high speed in an uncontrolled manner.
