Woman Constable Loses Tooth After Coconut Hits Face During Immersion

A police constable was working at a Ganpati immersion site in Pune.

Her job was to help manage the crowd.

A disagreement started about taking an idol out of the immersion tank.

Police said three men then allegedly threw stones during the argument.

A coconut thrown during the confusion hit the constable in the face.

One of her front teeth fell out, and two other teeth became loose.

She received medical treatment for her injuries.

She later complained to the police, who registered a case against three men.
