Gold, Cash Allegedly Stolen From Surat Businessman On Flight

A 67-year-old businessman from Surat said his valuable bag was taken after a flight from Dubai to Mumbai.

The bag reportedly contained gold, Indian money and UAE money.

He said he had bought the gold legally in Dubai.

Before the flight, an acquaintance introduced him to another man who offered to help with the bag.

After the plane landed, the second man allegedly walked away with it.

The businessman said he was unable to follow quickly because of his age and health.

He later learned that the man had entered a departure area using a Bengaluru flight ticket.

Police registered a case against two men.

The allegations have not yet been established in court.
