Jharkhand CM assures job aspirants' work won't face leak mafia
On Independence Day, the Chief Minister of a place called Jharkhand made a special speech.
He was talking to students who are trying to get government jobs.
Some people had leaked exam papers before, which made exams unfair.
Because of this, students were worried and had been protesting for 22 days.
The Chief Minister promised that cheaters and unfair systems will not ruin students' hard work.
He said that anyone found guilty of cheating will be punished, no matter how powerful they are.
He also said that nobody should be blamed without real proof.
He announced plans to make exams safer and more fair using technology.
The government will also listen to ideas from students, teachers, and parents.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured job aspirants that their hard work will not be left at the mercy of the paper leak mafia, corruption or irregularities.
The assurance came in Soren's Independence Day speech as student agitation for recruitment examination reforms entered its 22nd day.
Soren said paper leaks have become a national problem, but added that what happened in other states does not diminish Jharkhand's responsibility.
He promised impartial investigations and strict legal action against the guilty regardless of influence, while insisting no one would be declared guilty without evidence.
Planned reforms include a time-bound annual examination calendar, technology-secured exams, timely publication of answer keys and OMR sheets, and the 'Students' Voice With Students' campaign.
