Hemant Soren invites Jharkhand exam protesters for talks amid row
Many people in the Indian state of Jharkhand want jobs from the government.
To get those jobs, they must pass special exams.

Protests erupted after Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) chairman L. Khiangte resigned to facilitate a fair probe into alleged irregularities in the Combined Civil Services Preliminary Exam (CCSE) results declared on July 2.
Police raided the JPSC and arrested 14 people; private firm TSR Data Processing Private Limited (TDPL), blacklisted last year by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission, had conducted the test.
Protesters are demanding the scrapping of the CCSE prelims, cancellation of all exams conducted by TDPL, transfer of the probe to the CBI, and exam reforms.
Opposition leaders Babulal Marandi and Ajoy Kumar demanded a CBI investigation and a probe under the supervision of a sitting high court judge respectively.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar was briefed by Hemant Soren and stressed the need for transparency, fairness, and youth confidence in examination processes.
