Gujarat BJP Plans Bike Rallies Marking Modi’s 25 Years
The Gujarat BJP is planning events to celebrate Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public office.
Modi first became Gujarat’s Chief Minister on October 7, 2001.
He later became India’s Prime Minister in May 2014.
The celebrations will take place from September 17 to October 17.
September 17 is Modi’s birthday.
One main event will be motorcycle rallies between Vadnagar and Varanasi.
Vadnagar is Modi’s hometown, while Varanasi is the constituency he represents in the Lok Sabha.
Riders will carry water between the two places for religious ceremonies at important temples.
The Gujarat BJP will hold programmes under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan from September 17 to October 17.
