Karnataka NEET Counselling 2026 Round 1 Dates Announced

Every year, students in India who want to become doctors or dentists take a big test called NEET.

In the state of Karnataka, the office that runs the test, called the Karnataka Examinations Authority, now told students when they can pick which medical colleges they want.

From August 7 to August 13, 2026, students can fill in their choices of colleges and courses.

After that, on August 19, 2026, the office will share a first list of which students got seats.

The list is based on how well students scored and what choices they made.

Students who get a seat will be told what to do next.

The final list and the date to join the college will be announced later.

Students who did not get a seat the first time may get another chance in later rounds.
