NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Counselling Seat Allotment on August 19

Many students take a big test to try to get into medical school.

This test is called NEET.

After the test, there is a process called counselling where students pick a medical college.

A group called the Medical Counselling Committee runs this process.

The committee shared a new schedule for the first round of counselling.

The seat allotment result will be announced on August 19.

Students must save and lock their choices by 6 pm on August 17.

They also have to register online and pay a counselling fee first.

After the results come out, students report to their new college from August 20 to 25.

If students want a better seat later, they do not need to go physically to report.
