India hosted a big food and hotel show called the India International Hospitality Expo in 2026.

The show also held three cooking contests where people competed to be the best in their field.

A pastry chef named Tisha Nair won the contest for the best woman pastry chef in India.

A baker named Faryaz Nozer Engineer won the contest for the best professional baker.

Two home cooks, Palak Jain and Lakshita Gupta, worked as a team and won the contest for cooking with besan, a flour made from chickpeas.

They won 25,000 rupees as a cash prize.

Tisha and Faryaz each get to travel to Malaysia to learn more and improve their skills.

The show lasted four days and brought chefs, hotel owners and food experts together.

More than 25,000 business visitors came to see the show, which helps find and celebrate talented cooks from all over India.
