Brother Allegedly Kills Two Sisters in Uttarakhand Before Raksha Bandhan
Police said a man named Vivek Kumar allegedly shot two of his sisters.
The incident happened in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, a few days before Raksha Bandhan.
Police said he first went to Pushpa’s home and shot her.
He then went to Shakuntala’s home.
There, he allegedly fired at Shakuntala and her husband.
Both sisters died from their injuries.
Shakuntala’s husband was badly hurt and taken to a hospital.
His condition was reported to be critical.
Police were searching for Vivek and had not yet determined a motive.
