Thane Civic Schools To Get 70 More Digital Classrooms At ₹1.99 Crore Cost · freepressjournal.in

The city of Thane runs lots of schools for children who live there.

Many of these classrooms now have special digital screens, computers, and cameras to help kids learn.

The Thane Municipal Corporation, the group that runs the city's schools, has already made 455 classrooms digital.

Now, they want to make 70 more classrooms digital.

This will cost about ₹1.99 crore, which is a lot of money.

Each classroom will get a big 65-inch screen, computers, cameras, and a power backup so the equipment works even during blackouts.

The money also pays for installing the equipment, keeping it working for three years, and training teachers.

The plan will be discussed at a meeting on August 17, where leaders will decide whether to approve it.
