Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said India is making much more defence equipment at home than it did in 2014.

He said production grew from ₹40,000 crore to nearly ₹1.8 lakh crore.

He also said defence exports rose to nearly ₹40,000 crore.

Indian defence equipment now goes to about 100 countries, according to Singh.

He praised young people for creating companies and building new technologies.

Singh said the government wants India to become self-reliant and developed.

He pointed to Operation Sindoor and national-security efforts as examples of India’s strength.

He also mentioned UPI and welfare programmes as achievements.
