An important report counted how many schools in India have internet.

In the 2025-26 school year, about 67 out of every 100 schools had internet.

That is an improvement from the year before, when about 63 out of every 100 schools were connected.

But the report also found that around one in three schools still has no internet.

That means about 33 out of every 100 schools are still offline.

The report also looked at computers in schools.

About 70 out of every 100 schools now have computers, up from about 65 the year before.

Still, roughly three out of every ten schools do not have computers.

The numbers show schools are getting more connected, but many still need help to catch up.
