SpaceX Expands Starlink Supply Chain Hiring Ahead of India Launch
SpaceX is the company that operates Starlink, a satellite internet service.
It has started hiring technical and supply-chain workers in India.
At least four jobs are available in Bengaluru.
Three of them are connected to Starlink.
The workers would help companies make parts such as moulded components and wireless-signal hardware.
They would also check suppliers and help improve production.
Starlink wants to provide reliable internet to places with little or no connectivity.
However, Starlink cannot begin commercial service in India until it receives final security clearances.
SpaceX has posted at least four Bengaluru openings focused on supply-chain engineering, sourcing and planning.
Three of the roles are linked to Starlink, including supplier-development positions for injection moulding and RF integration.
The jobs involve evaluating suppliers, improving manufacturing quality and preparing components for high-volume production.
Starlink has obtained a satellite-broadband licence and established ground infrastructure in India, but final security clearances remain pending.
The hiring is SpaceX’s first reported technical recruitment in India for Starlink, though no commercial launch date has been announced.
