Congress Narrows Graduate MLC Candidate Panels Before Terms End
The Congress party must choose candidates for two Graduate MLC elections.
The current members’ terms will end in March.
Bhatti Vikramarka is handling one constituency, while Damodar Rajanarsimha is handling the other.
Each leader has prepared a list of three possible candidates.
The party’s state committee sent all six names to KC Venugopal.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is expected to visit Delhi on September 29.
Party leaders may make the final choice during that visit.
The official announcement is expected by the end of September.
The Congress high command is selecting candidates for two Telangana Graduate MLC constituencies whose current members’ terms end in March.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha each prepared a three-member candidate panel.
The Nalgonda–Warangal–Khammam panel includes Sarvotham Reddy, PV Srinivas and Chanagani Dayakar.
The Hyderabad–Rangareddy–Mahbubnagar panel includes Manne Jeevan Reddy, Sama Rammohan Reddy and Gouri Satish.
The six names were reportedly sent to KC Venugopal, with a final announcement expected by the end of September.
