Madhya Pradesh Police Expands Youth Safety Dialogues To Tehsil Schools
Madhya Pradesh Police is teaching students how to stay safe and get help.
The program is called Jan Suraksha Yuva Srijan Samvad.
It began on August 5 in several kinds of schools.
Police officers and experts explain what police stations and control rooms do.
They also teach students how to use Dial-112 during emergencies.
Lessons include how to avoid fake links, online fraud and other cyber scams.
From September 15, the program will reach schools in tehsil areas.
This will help students in smaller towns and rural places learn about safety and the law.
Madhya Pradesh Police will extend the Jan Suraksha Yuva Srijan Samvad initiative to tehsil-level schools from September 15.
The second phase will target students in rural areas and small towns with information on police services, cybersecurity and legal awareness.
The first phase began on August 5 and runs through September 14 in government, PM SHRI and Sandipani schools.
Students are learning about police stations, control rooms, Dial-112 and how to seek emergency assistance.
Sessions have included cybercrime prevention and information about Operation Aparajita and the Nirbhaya Mobile unit.
