Telangana CP Urges Teachers to Educate Students on Cyber Safety

She also said teachers should teach students not to share personal information or photos on social media.
Everyone was reminded to be careful while shopping online and making digital payments.
At the end, teachers took a special pledge to stay safe online.
Warangal police commissioner N. Swetha urged teachers to educate students about cybercrimes and protecting them from online fraud.
She spoke at a cyber awareness programme organised by the Central Zone Police under the 'Suraksha Ka Tiranga' campaign at Kaloji Kala Kshetram in Balasamudram.
Swetha said cyber frauds are increasing despite growing public awareness and that criminals exploit people's greed, fear, and sense of urgency.
She advised the public not to click on suspicious links, messages, or photographs from unknown persons and to strengthen mobile privacy settings.
The commissioner administered a cyber safety pledge to teachers and released awareness posters, while the Police Jagruthi cultural team performed awareness acts.
