IAS Officer Neha Marvya Faces Bhopal Staff Protest Over Misbehaviour

This story is about a very strict boss at a government office in a city called Bhopal, in India.

The workers at this office do not like how their boss, Neha Marvya, treats them.

They say she is unkind and sometimes threatens them if their work is slow.

So one day, the workers held a quiet protest called a pen-down strike, which means they stopped doing their office work.

The office helps take care of tribal areas and looks after more than 450 different projects.

The workers said the boss asked for very old records and told them they would be suspended if the records took too long.

Some other important people, like the chairman of a special commission, also said they were unhappy with the boss's way of working.

This is not the first time this boss has been in trouble, as she has argued with other officials and politicians at earlier jobs too.

The workers wanted to tell an even bigger official, the Chief Secretary, about their problem.
