Army Chief General Seth, Haryana governor discuss security, civil-military synergy

The leader of the Indian Army, General Dhiraj Seth, met with the governor of Haryana, Ashim Kumar Ghosh.

The meeting happened in Chandigarh, at a government building called Lok Bhavan, on Monday.

It was the first time the two leaders met after General Seth became the head of the army.

They talked about keeping the country safe and about working well together.

They also discussed helping young people find jobs, including soldiers called Agniveers.

Former soldiers' well-being, housing projects, and making India self-reliant were also topics.

The leaders talked about preparing for natural disasters and reducing their damage.

General Seth promised that the army would always work to protect the nation.

They ended the meeting by exchanging gifts to show their friendship.

Earlier that day, General Seth also met Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab.
