Sources said Sparta unloaded supplies, including ammunition, for Hmeimim and Tartous, though Reuters could not independently verify the cargo.
The mission was the first reported resupply operation since the August 9 agreement governing Russia’s military presence in Syria.
The agreement allows Russian forces to remain while civilian facilities transfer to Syrian control and military sites become joint training centers.
