Maris Stella College Launches CMA Foundation Coaching Programme in Vijayawada
A college in Vijayawada has started a brand new class to help students become accountants.
The class is called the CMA foundation coaching programme.
Twenty-five students joined the first group of this class.
The programme is approved by a big accounting organization called ICMAI.
Students can take this class while they finish their regular college studies.
The class will teach them about costs, money, and managing accounts.
It will also help them get ready for the CMA exam.
The college's principal and other leaders started the class with a special digital banner event.
The teachers say this will help students get better jobs in the future.
Maris Stella College (Autonomous), Vijayawada launched an ICMAI-accredited CMA foundation coaching programme on Monday.
A total of 25 students enrolled for the inaugural batch of the programme.
College Correspondent Dr Leena Quadras and Principal Dr Innyasamma Gade formally launched the programme through a digital banner and poster.
The programme aims to help students pursue the CMA qualification alongside their regular academic studies.
K Poojitha, Head of the Department of Commerce, said the initiative is a significant step toward creating stronger career pathways for students.
