13th India-Sri Lanka Maritime Exercise SLINEX-26 Concludes in Visakhapatnam
India and Sri Lanka held a naval exercise called SLINEX-26.
It was the 13th exercise of its kind.
The exercise took place in Visakhapatnam from 17 to 21 September.
Sailors from both countries met and shared professional knowledge.
They visited each other’s ships and took part in sports.
At sea, the navies practised moving together and operating aircraft.
They also practised night resupply and special forces activities.
The exercise was intended to improve cooperation and help keep the Indian Ocean Region secure and stable.
