Coles Telugu Baptist Church Celebrates 108th Anniversary
A church in Kurnool is preparing to celebrate its 108th anniversary.
The celebrations will take place from September 11 to 13.
People will join prayer services and other religious programmes.
There will also be songs, quizzes, skits and traditional Kolatam performances.
Sports activities are planned too.
The church was started in 1917.
Its special building was finished in 1919.
Prizes will be given to participants on the evening of September 13.

The church was founded in 1917 by missionary Dr John Newcombe with support from Dr Ackerman Coles.
Its Gothic-style building was completed in 1919 and features arches, rosewood work, a spire, bells and a clock.
