IIT Kanpur has finished the first part of its job placement process for students graduating in 2025-26.

Over 250 companies offered 1,202 jobs, and students accepted 1,079 of them.

Some students got jobs in other countries like Europe, Japan, Korea, and the United States.

The school is happy with how well the students did and expects even more job offers in the next part, which starts in January 2026.

On the first day of placements, students received 672 job offers, which is the highest ever for IIT Kanpur.

There were also more pre-placement offers this year compared to last year.
