IIT Kanpur Concludes Phase 1 Placements 2025-26
IIT Kanpur has finished the first part of its job placement process for students graduating in 2025-26.
Over 250 companies offered 1,202 jobs, and students accepted 1,079 of them.
Some students got jobs in other countries like Europe, Japan, Korea, and the United States.
The school is happy with how well the students did and expects even more job offers in the next part, which starts in January 2026.
On the first day of placements, students received 672 job offers, which is the highest ever for IIT Kanpur.
There were also more pre-placement offers this year compared to last year.
IIT Kanpur concluded Phase 1 of 2025-26 placements with 1,202 offers from 250+ companies.
Students accepted 1,079 offers, including 15 international offers and 253 pre-placement offers (PPOs).
Phase 2 of placements is scheduled to start in mid-January 2026.
On the first day of placements, students received 672 job offers, a 16% increase over last year.
Notable companies participating included Accenture, Airbus, American Express, BlackRock, Boeing, Databricks, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, Mastercard, Meesho, Navi, PwC, Qualcomm, Samsung, InMobi, and Square Point Capital, along with PSUs like BPCL, BEL, MIDHANI, and EIL.
