In a place called Mahadevpur, a government leader named Rahul Sharma wants to help farmers earn more money.

He told them they could grow a special plant called vetiver along with their regular crops.

It also gives benefits to farmers for a long time.

The government is giving out free vetiver plants to farmers.

About 1,200 farmers have been selected to receive the plants.

Each farmer will get 60 plants for their land.

Nearly 70,000 plants are ready to be given away.

The government will also help with taking care of the plants.

Mr. Sharma thanked the women's groups who helped run the plant nursery.
