India has updated an online system used to manage Bank Guarantees for exports.

A Bank Guarantee is a promise from a bank connected to an export process.

The system can now show whether a guarantee is new or replacing an older one.

Exporters will receive email reminders before their guarantees expire.

These reminders will arrive 60 days and 45 days before expiration.

Officials can send digitally signed notices to exporters and banks.

The portal also shows the current status of each guarantee.

The changes are intended to make tracking faster and reduce paperwork.
