Warangal, Hyderabad win in Telangana Pro Basketball League
The Telangana Pro Basketball League (TPBL) had exciting matches on Sunday.
The Warangal Warriors beat the Nizam Nawabs 85-69, and the Hyderabad Honey Badgers won against the Khammam Knights 97-78.
The league is the first of its kind in Telangana and aims to support local basketball players.
Matches are held every day from 5pm to 10pm.
The league was started by A. Prudhvishwar Reddy to create a structured pathway for young talent and to make basketball more popular in the state.
Basketball veterans were also honored and played a friendly match.
